How much does a website cost in Malaysia in 2026?

How much does a website cost in Malaysia? It depends on the type of website, the number of pages and features, and what you pay after launch. This guide gives real 2026 numbers, including DCraft’s own published prices.

How much does each type of website cost?

The biggest factor is the type of website. A one-page landing page costs far less than a multi-page company website or an online store, because there’s less to plan, design and build.

Here’s what each type costs at DCraft in October 2026:

Website typeDCraft priceTypical scope
Landing pageRM499 (normally RM899)1 page for ads, promotions or one service
Business websiteFrom RM1,2995 to 8 pages: About, Services, Portfolio, Contact
Corporate websiteFrom RM2,0998 to 12 pages for larger companies

What do other web designers in Malaysia charge?

When we reviewed the published packages of Malaysian web design studios in October 2026, starting prices for a modern-looking website ranged from about RM999 to around RM10,000. Most small business websites from studios fall somewhere between RM1,300 and RM5,000.

Very low prices usually mean a template with your logo swapped in, while higher prices usually include more pages, custom design, copywriting or ongoing marketing. Compare what’s included, not just the headline number.

What changes the price of a website?

Once you know the type, these are the things that move a quote up or down:

Pages

More service or location pages mean more design and build time.

Features

Bookings, multi-language, memberships or integrations add work.

Products

Online stores cost more with more products and options.

Content

Writing and organising text and photos takes time.

Design

Custom design costs more than adapting a template.

Timeline

Rush deadlines need extra working days.

What does a website cost after launch?

The build price isn’t the whole cost. Every website needs hosting and a domain to stay online, and many businesses pay for help with updates. Ask any designer what you’ll pay in year 2, before you sign.

Running costAt DCraftWhat it covers
Year 1 hosting + .com domainIncludedHosting and domain for the first year
Yearly renewal from year 2RM299 to RM699Hosting, .com domain, SSL, daily backups, security maintenance, updates

Which costs catch business owners out?

The most common surprises are a high renewal fee in year 2, a domain registered in the designer’s name instead of yours, and being charged for every small text change.

Before you choose, ask three questions: who owns the domain, what is the yearly renewal, and how many revision rounds are included? At DCraft the answers are published on our pricing page: you own the domain, renewals are RM299 to RM699 a year, and revision rounds are listed per package.

How do you choose the right website for your budget?

If you need enquiries quickly for one offer, a landing page is usually enough to start. If customers compare you with competitors, a business website gives them the detail they need. If you sell products, choose an online store.

Not sure? Ask for a free quote and we’ll recommend the smallest website that does the job.
